About GRABO and the VACDRILL

GRABO is a brand of Nemo Power Tools Ltd, best known for portable electric vacuum lifting tools.

From lifting to anchoring

GRABO built its reputation on portable electric vacuum lifters — battery-powered suction tools that let one person handle glass, stone, board and panels. The company's own Instagram describes the product as "the world's first portable electric vacuum lifter tool".

The VACDRILL inverts that idea. Instead of using powered suction so a person can move a heavy object, it uses powered suction to hold a machine still so the machine can do work. The engineering — pump, seal, control — carries across; the application does not. Read the technology lineage.

Intellectual property

The self-holding, self-driving drilling system is covered by granted patents including US11253978B1 in the United States and CN 2022100312703 in China, with a design patent (D968,485 S) covering the press form and further filings in Europe, Canada and Japan.
