VACDRILL for facade and curtain wall

Dense, finished, exposed — and usually a long way up.

The job

Facade work fixes brackets and restraints into concrete frames, stone cladding and panel systems, typically from a cradle, MEWP or scaffold.

Where the tool fits

Dense stone and finished concrete are good vacuum surfaces, and working from a suspended platform is exactly where you least want to be supplying feed force by hand.

Hole accuracy governs whether a bracket sits true, which governs whether the panel line is right.

Wind, weather and water

Wet surfaces behave differently for sealing; standing water and a vacuum pad are not friends.

Cold reduces seal conformity. Warm the pad and clean carefully in winter conditions.

Exclusion below

Anything dropped from facade work is a serious hazard. Dust capture and contained spoil help; exclusion zones remain mandatory.
